Objectives

The Programme's objectives include: imparting wisdom, expertise, and insights of seasoned insurance veterans to industry practitioners or young executives holding various roles in the field. It aims to cultivate these young professionals by enabling them to learn more from the experienced Mentors in areas such as: market knowledge of insurance, commercial sense, management, underwriting, client relations, marketing or handling insurance claims, and so forth. The initiative also covers: personal growth and communication skills training, and development of solutions. Furthermore, it addresses their specific career advancement objectives. It also promotes networking.

Programme Outcome

Joining the Programme, Mentee will

  1. gain practical advice, encouragement and support from Mentor;

  2. nurture valuable leadership, growth and professional development;

  3. enhance problem-solving and analytic skills;

  4. widen spectrum of knowledge of insurance and insurance industry; and

  5. learn from the experiences of others.

Programme Outcome

Appreciation and Recognition

Upon completion of the Programme, Mentee

  1. will receive the report incorporating Mentor’s general advice and recommendations;

  2. will receive a certificate to be presented at the Closing Ceremony; and/or

  3. may be presented an award as a recognition for the outstanding performance.

Closing ceremony will be held after the end of the term of the Programme.
